friends, devastated to report that louise glück passed away today in this very october. if you haven’t read the poem before, i recommend doing so now.

What's ESPECIALLY vile in all this is that Israelis & Zionists are using statements from the shatila and sabra massacre survivors (click) and trying to pass it off as happening to them.

It's simultaneously a confession of past inhumanity and a selfish reiteration of it in the present day.

My deepest darkest fantasy is that I collapse on the street and I am rushed to the hospital. They perform a bunch of tests and find out I am severely deficient in some kind of vitamin. Then I start taking the vitamin and I become the happiest cleverest person alive because all my problems were caused by this one deficiency
